Animation Voice-Over

Animation Voice-Over

Along with my writing, acting, reviewing, Greek loving, Greek ranting, and general showbiz dabbling, I have also dipped my toe into the voice-over pool.

The great thing about voice-over work is that there is no messing around in hair and make-up and definitely NO CORSETS.

The video above is an animation entitled The Brownie Story by the University of Creative Arts, who asked me to voice the character of the Mum. (Can’t believe I’m playing the mother roles already…)

Using stop-motion film, the animation itself is beautifully reminiscent of the times of Bagpuss, Postman Pat, and Fireman Sam.

Strangely, I even think the mum looks a bit like me…

Check the music listings on the right panel to hear more samples of my voice-over work.

Wonderful! Love your work — love this blog! I would love to come to Greece one day soon — my male friend (from Australia) has just spent two months travelling and has fallen deeply in love — not with a woman, but, your country! He said, ‘such a beautiful country, with immense history, gorgeous women and warm and friendly people everywhere”! So keep up your good work, creating beauty and magic for all to enjoy!
