My 90’s acting debut in Acropolis Now!

My 90’s acting debut in Acropolis Now!

It may come as a surprise to many of you that back when I was about 4 years old, my future self was actually starring in ACROPOLIS NOW – an Australian television sitcom set in a fictional Greek cafe in Melbourne.

Ok so the character of Aphrodite is not really me (had you fooled though didn’t I!) but was played by actress Evdokia Katahanas (what a name hey!).

But you have to admit, the likeness IS uncanny.

The sitcom was very popular back in the day and has become something of a cult classic.

If you haven’t had the pleasure of catching snippets of this hilarious show you simply must catch up on youtube.

You can watch episodes here.

Enjoy people! Opa!

What great Greek/Australian accents! I liked how she couldn’t use any wax as he had done his back. From what I know, not too much of an exaggeration! We should do something similar here, a sitcom about an up and coming British Greek writer and actress!
