Hello….? Is there anyone still out there…? I haven’t written a blog post in such a long time that I’m pretty certain that most of the lovely peeps who used to read my content have gone on to far better and brighter blogs. However, if there is anyone still out there who might be tuning in, then I have this to say:
I HAVE WRITTEN A CHILDREN’S BOOK!!
The mythological chapter book is entitled The Adventures of Omicron: The Temple of Olympus, and is aimed at youngsters aged roughly from 7+ (or younger if parents are willing to read it!)
The story follows Omicron the mechanical owl as the god Zeus sends him down into ancient Greece to face giants, sea monsters, sorceress’ and more, before he can be deemed worthy enough to return to Mount Olympus.
In Omicron’s first adventure he must help Delphina the High Priestess to protect the Temple of Olympus from the dangerous giant Thoon and his band of burly brothers.
This is the first book in the Omicron series and I plan for the second book to be out around Easter 2020 if all goes well. It is available in paperback and on kindle from Amazon worldwide, however I should state that the kindle version really doesn’t do the book justice (in my humble opinion) due to the illustrations so a paperback version is definitely the way to go – especially for a child!
I have made a YouTube Video all about how the book came to fruition and I’ve also got another video about how to self-publish for anyone who is interested. I am trying to grow my YouTube channel so if you have a google account (which is very simple to create) and watch YT from time to time then why not subscribe…?! I would be eternally grateful.
It would be wonderful if you could share the book with friends and family who may have children or grandchildren who enjoy early chapter books. Also if you enjoy the book I would really appreciate it if you could take a moment to leave a short review online.
Don’t forget that all my other books are still available on Amazon worldwide and seeing as Christmas is upon us why not grab one (or two, or three, oh heck why not get them all!) as a stocking filler?
As always I am forever grateful to those of you who support and follow all my literary endeavours and my social media twitterings (see what I did there…! Actually I never even really use twitter!)
I’ve got lots more book and content ideas swirling around so hopefully these will come to pass and bring a smile (or a frown…bad publicity is good publicity) to somebody somewhere…
Take care my friends and thanks for reading!
